About Our programs
1. What can I expect from this class?
The Lego curriculum is designed to support a structured process which consists of four phases: (Connect) provides short engaging story, introducing a problem or a challenge that students must solve; (Construct) building things in the real world and students piercing knowledge and understanding together, (Contemplate) taking time to think, deepening of their experience and encouraging the students to ask questions, and (Continue) where the natural urge to learn more and yearn for more challenges is tapped.
Early Structures Children are always curious about the things around them. Here, they will find explanations to the things they often see. Like why some bridges are arched; etc.
-Children will be more creative and independent thinkers as they explore possibilities with the bricks.
Early Simple Machines- Children explore the world of engineering and technology. They learn how machines at home (fan, mixer, drum, top, etc) and local community (flag pole, car washer, escalator, etc.) work.
-Children will be more creative and independent thinkers as they explore possibilities/solutions using the simple machines.
Mini Series/Simple and Powered Mechanisms- Kids learn to solve problems on their own way.
-They develop creative and logical thinking, mathematical skills and patience.
