Techtronic's WORLD

My World of Science for 7-12 year-olds

Children build and design increasingly advanced mechanisms using LEGO® Technic and LEGO System sets. Children learn about mechanical components and use motors to power their great inventions.


My World of Robotics for 8-12 years olds 

Children learn to create simple computer programs that control the behaviour of robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education software and LEGO Technic sets. Programmes range from simple to advanced, starting with simple programming and building skills and progressing to creative designs and engineering solutions.

Camps

We offer holiday camps. Programs are based on popular themes such as robots, machines. Children work in pairs or small groups to solve a variety of challenges presented in each camp theme. Programs are typically offered to children in 8-12 year olds.

8-12 year-olds


Children in this age group typically work with the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education resources to design, build and program robots. MINDSTORMS includes the programmable NXT brick, software, motors, sensors, bricks and LEGO Technic gears, axles and beams.
